Aquines

Stardust filled the sky, illuminating against the black space that surrounded it. As the stardust began to gather, a beautiful mare emerged, her long, glowing, mane flowing effortlessly. Her name was Galacia, born from the Galaxy around her.

Galacia did not know where she had come from, or if she truly had been born from the stars, nor how she was able to breathe when oxygen was nowhere to be found. The only emotions she felt was loneliness, or nothing but stardust surrounded her in this dark, inky abyss,

​

Galacia opened her eyes, drawing in a deep breath and summoning the stardust to aid her once more in the creation of the perfect world, where life would be plentiful and she would never feel alone again.

​

As the stardust began to gather, it started to take the shape of a cold, icy planet. However, within moments of its creation, it shattered, once more filling the sky with stardust like every other failed attempt.

​

Galacia knew that with each attempt she would only get weaker, but she did not give up.

​

She spent many, many years, tens, thousands, millions, creating planet after planet that, like the ones created before, would crumble into stardust. Galaxia finally realised that she was not powerful enough to create life from her own abilities. She realised that while the stardust created the physical world, it was the life energy that was needed to maintain the planet.

​

Cold and tired, yet still determined, Galacia summoned all the energy within herself, merging with the stardust that surrounded her to create a beautiful world inside her body, known today as Galacia. In doing so, Queen Galacia sacrificed herself, falling into an eternal slumber so that the world within her could live on.

​

This world was filled with an endless assortment of terrain, along with small horses much like herself which had been formed by the stardust from the planets that now reside inside them. Each equine contained a world that she had previously created, nurturing so one day, they would do what Galacia failed to do so long ago.
